1. Be Sure

How can you be sure that you have accepted Christ? A true Christian is someone who believes in God and has asked Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to be their Lord and Savior. If you believe, you’ve asked God to come into your life and you are growing in your faith, you can be sure, you are saved.

2. Who is God?

God is the Supreme Being who created the heavens and the earth. Read more.

3. Knowing Jesus

Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth in human form. Did you know he is crazy about you? Did you know the end of the whole plot to the Bible is that God moved heaven and earth just to get to know you? He wants to be a part of your every day life, he cares about the small stuff.

Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth in human form. Did you know he is crazy about you? Did you know the whole plot to the Bible is that God moves heaven and earth just to be in relationship with you? He wants to be a part of your everyday life, he cares about the small stuff!

4. Saved by Grace

Everyone is in need of salvation. The Bible, in Romans 5, tells us that all sin and fall short of God’s glory. We are saved by God’s grace for us, not by our works.

5. Created for a Purpose

The purpose of your life is to bring God glory in everything you do: in your worship, your relationships, and your work. Read Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28:16-20

6. The Holy Spirit

Who is the Holy Spirit? And what does He have to do with your life? He is the spirit of God who lives among us. He speaks to us, guides us to help others and gives us power to overcome trials in our lives.

7. Baptism

God makes all things new. Even us. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change, and a commitment to follow Jesus. Coming up out of the water symbolizes that God has washed away all of our sin, and we declare to the world we are made new. If you are interested in baptism, sign up! Read 2 Corinthians 5:17

8. What is the Bible?

The Bible is God’s Holy Word. It is inspired by God and can guide you to new life in Jesus Christ and teach you how to live a Godly life. God’s Word the Bible can have tremendous power in your life.

9. Joining a Family

When you became a Christian, you joined a family. God adopted us all into his family, we were all orphans in our faith. Being in community is so important, we encourage every new believer to join a Life Group.

10. What is prayer?

Prayer is incredible. Because of Jesus, we can communicate with God. Prayer is simply a conversation (2-sided) with God. A great way to start praying is just telling God about your day, things that you’re worried about and asking him to guide you. Jesus gave us a model for prayer, read Matthew 6:9-13. This isn’t a formula, or words to recite it’s simply a model. It starts with acknowledging God’s glory, putting his will before your own, asking him to provide for your needs… And in response to God’s forgiveness to us, we ask him to forgive us and to help us forgive others.
